Ansaldo Caldaie has successfully completed the supply of one Horizontal, three pressure level Heat Recovery Steam Generator to operate behind 170 MW GT at Ute Sepé Tiaraju CCPP (Brazil) of Petrobras.

Erection activities (out of scope of work) have recently started under Ansaldo Caldaie supervision and Petrobras have scheduled start-up within the fourth quarter of 2012.

Based in Rio de Janeiro, Petrobras is the largest Oil Company in Latin America, extensively involved also in the power business.

With this contract, Ansaldo Caldaie enlarges its track record in the fast-growing market of Latin America, where both HRSG’s and Utility Boilers were supplied by our Company in the past years.
